Mission
Charter/Mission Statement
Provide a user and community Forum
which plays a catalytic role in improving the quality of life for
the area's citizens with disabilities.
Operating Plan/Responsibilities:

Establish or strengthen
a community awareness and sense of responsibility.

Review the needs
of this segment of the population to identify gaps and develop programs.

Work to insure that
multiply resource efforts are coordinated.

Analyze programs
provided to identify strengths and weaknesses, improve efficiencies
and eliminate waste.

Provide user inputs
into policies and procedures and conduct audits.
-
Assist with planning
efforts.
-
Assist with operational
issues such as provider development, out sourcing and monitoring.

Provide services
where appropriate.

Supply feedback to
the general user community.
-
Participate in the
development and the implementation of system reform.
-
Review and comment
on service budget.
-
Work with the LME
to insure adequate representation.
-
Play a role in client
advocacy and participate in satisfaction surveys.

Participate in the
development and management of required services.
